The Pantone color of the year for 2014 is Radiant Orchid and while I think “radiant orchid” can be pulled off well with paper goods, décor and fabric – it can be difficult with blooms. We might as well just call it “shades of purple and fuschia”. Flower colors can really vary depending on the season, so it’s helpful to be a little flexible with them. I think the board put together by Sara over at Burnett’s Boards is a very flexible and inspirational color palette – perfect for any season!
