Red (and all shades of it) is such an amazing color to design with in the fall. I had a blast collaborating with Maddy of Splendid Supply Company, film photographer Jake Anderson and the girls at Simply Elegant Events to design and style this photo shoot a few weeks ago. I incorporated burgundy dahlias, Darcy garden roses, red succulents, crabapples and ranunculus throughout the floral arrangements. Copper and brass provided a fresh look for the current metal trend and was set off beautifully with a pickled wood runner made by Simply Elegant. Cascading and lush floral atop log stumps with a backdrop of vines, roses and wood lattice created a rustic altar. Thank you to 100 Layer Cake for featuring this today! Thank you also to the UK wedding blog Wedding Sparrow for featuring this as well.
