This is an older wedding and parts of it have been published several times in both national and local magazines. This stunning greenery filled wedding took place at Aria in Minneapolis on a July 4th weekend. The bride and groom wanted the feel of an outdoor wedding but the comfort of an indoor space during the heat of summer. We softened the raw urban building with long garlands strung across the ceiling mixed with café lights to create a tree like canopy and bring the height of the room to a more intimate level. Delicate vine like foliage was used out in the lobby and on the reception tables to contrast with the lush feel of the garlands. Bob with Edelweiss Design (my former employer and talented gardener designer) assisted with the tree sourcing and placement. The bride and groom requested that we keep their names and some of the images private so here are some beautiful shots by Geneoh Photography. Sarah with On Solid Ground Vintage Rentals styled the event and Blush and Whim coordinated the day.
these foliages (and flowers) are PERFECTION! what an absolutely gorgeous soiree!
