Jillian and Nick’s June wedding was one of the first intimate events we did after the lockdown in spring of 2020. I really admired all my couple’s determination to get married last year among the confusion of the pandemic. Early June is a beautiful time to get married with all the peonies and blooming branches available locally. Jill loved anemones and romantic but textural blooms like rose colored protea so we used those as focal blooms in her bouquet and the table centerpieces. The ceremony was at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Stillwater and the tent reception was up on the hill behind the Lora Hotel in downtown Stillwater Minnesota. We designed a hanging spring blooming branch installation creating an inviting focal point in the center of the tent for the guests. Thank you to Jake Anderson Photography for the beautiful film images!
